When Im at work and kneel down on my knees on the tile it feels as if there is a seed or something Im sitting my right knee on. Its very sharp and painful. I did about 10 yrs ago sleep and fall on it.
JA: What seems to make the symptoms worse or better? Have you noticed any swelling?
Customer: No swelling.
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: I favor tjis leg at work w weight and occasionally when walking I do put my foot down and it feels as my ankle is giving out. I have worked 17+ yrs standing leaning on my feet.

There can be an inflammation like arthritis, bursitis.
A ligament or meniscus injury is also possible.
I would suggest to take an examination by doctor.
An X ray, MRI scan would be helpful.
Antiinflammatory pain medicines like motrin or naproxen can be taken to reduce the pain, if there is no contraindications to them.
You can apply warm, moist compress.
