My husband was asked to take an x-ray because the doctor said he had cells as big as cherries in his lungs. But he refused. Could this be lung cancer?

Customer: He works with cars(painting) His shoulders hurts. He had pneumonia in 1995 which makes his voice hoarse when he,s coming down with a cold

Since you aren't replying, I can tell you that there are several types of lung cancer. However, you can't tell what kind it is without a biopsy. You also can't tell what lung cells look like without one. Perhaps you can tell me more about the situation.

How did the doctor know what kind of lung cells he had? This is really baffling, since there is no way to examine lung cells without a biopsy.

An xray just tells how bad the pneumonia is, or if he is being treated, how he is responding to treatment.
