The phone request was from someone else.

A high lymphocyte count (lymphocytosis) can be caused by any kind of infection (viral, bacterial, fungal), any autoimmune disorder causing chronic inflammation (IBS can cause chronic inflammation), or cancer of the blood or the lymphatic system. When someone is found to have lymphocytosis, they are sent to a hematologist (blood doctor) who will run more tests to determine why the lymphocyte count is high.

Please let me know what additional questions you have about this.

Kind regards,
