Having pain in the left back side of my head. Had a head

Customer Question

Having pain in the left back side of my head. Had a head injury 1997 on the same side. Should I get an MRI
JA: Is the headache episodic or daily? And what about nausea?
Customer: No nausea. I would describe it as head pain in the one area. I do not have any headache. It has happen a couple times this week sparked by intercourse. Pain lasted all night and still have it today.
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: Just the closed head traumatic brain injury. Was very stressed this last week, but better now. My food intake is not much. I have many food allergies. Trying to gut a healthy gut back.

Hello again,I was waiting for your reply.

Pain in the back of head can occur when there is orgasm.
This is a relatively benign condition.
But an examination by doctor needs to be taken to rule out any other factor related to brain to be certain.
There can be several factors in causing this pain.
Sexual excitement can lead to tightening of muscles around head & neck.
This can also be due to a rise of blood pressure during that period.
Analgesics , triptans & beta blockers can be needed to control the pain if it occurs frequently.
I hope this information helps.
If there’s anything else I can do, please let me know.
If you are satisfied, please rate my answer as good or excellent.
Regards.
