My husband had knee replacement surgery on the 21st, after he got hiccups and they have lasted until now. The hospital has given his meds for it, he still has them, I called his primary Dr, prescribed him Chlorpromazine 25mg tablets, five of them. didn't work. what do I do now?

I see, then it means he may need to try another medication. Metoclopramide is another medication that has been shown to help. If that offers no relief then an injection around the nerve that supplies his diaphrgm will help, but should be tried after exhausting all other drugs.
