started doing crossfit a few weeks ago. I was doing box step ups the other day and felt weak on the left side. When i tried to step up today, I was unable to with the left, had a lot of pain in the left buttock. More upper than lower. Im thinking gluteal strain?
JA: How long have you had the pain? What seems to make the pain better or worse?
Customer: Just a few days. I definetly feel it going up stairs.

Thank you for your question, it seems like a muscle sprain or strain, you need to rest this muscle, take tylenol or advil for a couple of day and it will resolve. Red flag or warning symptoms include changes in the bowel or urinary frequency. IF any such symptoms then you should visit emergency right away. Thank you.
