Hello,
Thank you for your question.
I am Dr Saha, I shall try my best to help you.
Since when are you having this spot?

How large?

Is it increasing in size?
Do you have any other symptom? or past illness?
Did you have any test?
Did you consult doctor or take any measure?

Can you send picture?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
I have added pictures.
I just noticed it maybe about a month ago but prior to this I have felt that spot to be rough or sore every once in awhile. I have been to the dentist and he wasn't concerned.
I have had ct of head and neck 2x the past few months for other reasons (4mm lesion near parotid gland being removed monday ( idk if that is related or can be.
I have had no other symptoms no sore throat, or difficulty eating.
I do had a slight tendency to clenching my jaw and put my jaw pain/discomfort down to that because it is not constant.

Thank you for the information &picture,
The spot looks like swollen papilla of tongue.
It does not look like a cancer.
I feel you should not worry.
Dentist also examined you.
It is not related to computer problem.
I hope this information helps.
If there’s anything else I can do, please let me know.
If you are satisfied, please rate my answer as good or excellent.

I added 2 other picture with the spot or concern circled so you can better see it.
You don't think I should be concerned?
Do you have a possible explanation as to why it is like this?
And is it normal for it to be like so for so long?I'm sorry for the persistant question im just really concerned and want to get some answers and ease my mind if possible
Expert:  Dr. Saha replied 2 months ago.

I have seen the circled area.
Is it increasing in size since you noticed it?

Any change since then?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
No change since I've noticed it. Not painful but when it rubs my teeth it feels like as if I burnt my tongue there (thats the best way I can explain it)
Expert:  Dr. Saha replied 2 months ago.

Repeated trauma can cause swelling of papilla or spot.
Clenching of tooth can cause trauma.

Sometimes, leukoplakia can cause such spots.

They usually heal of their own.

If you smoke, please avoid it.

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
I should not be concerned at this time?I do not smoke
Expert:  Dr. Saha replied 2 months ago.

It is good that you do not smoke.

Please do not worry at this moment.
