Have you looked at picture?
Expert:  Dr. Saha replied 1 month ago.

Yes, I have seen it.

What are your symptoms?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
Sometimes coughing and feeling like I have a lot of drainage, but it actually feels like it's coming up my throat, not from nasal. Other times just a sore throat: it's had what I considered strange things on the back

55 years old and I can't tell you if the coloring is even normal. It just looked odd to me when I took picture

Since when are you having this issue?
Did you have any test?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
The drainage or fluid like feeling it's been going on along time. I would say couple years. The coughing when I feel like fluid is stuck in back of throat about 3 or 4 months. I've had no test. I really wanted to know If a normal throat can look like this.

Thank you for all the information,
From the picture the mucosa looks congested.
There is no pus however.
Congestion can occur from a number of causes.
There can be a chronic infection or chronic pharyngitis.
Allergy, reflux of acid can cause congestion too.
You may need a few tests to find out the precise cause.
CBC, throat swab, scope, allergy test can be needed.
I hope this information helps.
If there’s anything else I can do, please let me know.
