Hello again,
I was waiting for your reply.
The buzzing sound in the ear is likely to be tinnitus.
There are many causes for tinnitus, but sometimes no cause can be evident also.
The causes can be -exposure to loud sound, infection, ear wax.
As you had cold, it can be related.
An infection of ear can develop.
There can be blockage of ear tube too from cold.
I would suggest to consult an ENT specialist to have an examination of your ear.
It will help in detection of the cause & its treatment.
The cure of condition depends on the specific cause.
In case of infection antibiotic would help.
You can try tylenol cold to relieve the cold & congestion.

By reducing congestion it can improve the buzzing sound.
I hope this information helps.
If there’s anything else I can do, please let me know.
If you are satisfied, please rate my answer as good or excellent.
Regards.
