I'm 42. It is two glands in my neck. They're slightly swollen but not very tender.I've had symptoms for 1 week. No other symptoms. I haven't been to a doctor.

Thank you for all the information,

In viral illness you can have fever, muscle ache, swollen glands.

Sore throat may nor always present.

Usually viral illness recovered within a week rest, fluid and supportive measures.

Sometimes in post viral period, bacterial infection can supervene or symptoms can prolong.

Tylenol or Motrin can help in muscle pain and fever.

Take adequate rest and plenty of fluid.

As it is going on for a week, I would advise to consult your doctor in person.

I hope this information helps.
