Hello,I am Dr. Arun and will be helping you today.
Your symptoms of swelling in torso and groin can be;
1) Incisional hernia; bulge of internal organs via weakness in previous surgical scar (with your history of surgery).
2) Groin bulge; an inguinal or femoral hernia.
Having said that; with your IVC and colon issues; these swellings can be associated aneurysm too or varicose veins. You need an ultrasound and a colored doppler study (specialized ultrasound) for ascertainment and confirmation of the diagnosis. You may require corrective surgery for the treatment.
