Pin point extreme flow of blood from medial left leg, just above ankle. Individual scratched (something?) & blood spree forth. Has been compressed & elevated. Bleeding has stopped. Is it OK to walk on/put leg down?

How long has it been since the bleeding stopped. Are they on anticoagulant medication?
