Penicillin is the drug of choice to treat syphilis. Penicillin can be given orally in the dose of 800 mg thrice daily for 8 to 10 days.
In case of combined infection of syphilis and gonorrhea, cephalosprins like Cefdinir will be given in combination with penicillin. Doxycycline is the best alternative for treating early and late latent syphilis if it's diagnosed through testing. You should go for STD panel and then get treatment accordingly.
