Hello,

If you are bleeding heavy enough to fill a tampon hourly you need emergency help. It it is just a heavier and longer period than usual, you need to make an appointment with your gyn for an exam and perhaps an ultrasound. Hormone fluctuations even from something like stress can cause periods to be irregular, but heavy menstruation needs to be investigated.

Please let me know if you need additional information about this.

Kind regards,

Schuyler
