I have chill-like feelings that run from my shoulders down my body and out my feet. What would cause this? These are random and not every day.

for a short period--maybe two minutes after--a weak feeling.

There are any number of things that can cause this. Among them are irritation of the nerves at the top of the spine that can send the feelings lower down your body (both front and back). Some vitamin deficiencies (B12, folate), iron deficiency, etc. can also cause this.

It can also come from low blood pressure, particularly when rising from a sitting or lying position.

While it isn't an emergency, you can mention it to your primary provider next time you see him or her so they can run tests for any problems.

Thyroid might also be an issue.
