Hello,
I am Dr. Arun and will be helping you today.

Where is the pain exactly located on the abdomen?

Is the pain mild or moderate to severe?

Has she tenderness, bloating, gas, urinary burning, loss of appetite?

Expert:  Dr. Arun Phophalia replied 5 months ago.

Hello,

It seems that you are offline, so I am writing you an initial answer. Once you read it and have any follow up questions, you may ask them. I am concerned about the mild temperature. This may be indicative of some inflammation of intestine or appendix or Fallopian tubes etc. That may need an ultrasound, CT scan to diagnose. If she has tenderness on the abdomen; these investigations are necessary as inflammation of the viscera becomes more likely, which causes constipation and abdominal pain too. So exam by a doctor would be needed.

In the absence of slight raised body temperature and temperature, one may employ the home use fleet enema. In the presence of these symptoms, one should avoid it. But you may try home use suppository, meanwhile.

Please feel free for your follow up questions.

I would be happy to assist you further, if you need any more information.

Thanks for using Just Answer.

Following measures are recommended and would be helpful for relieving constipation;

1) Vegetables,

2) Fruits (especially dried fruits)

3) Cereals like whole wheat, bran or oatmeal

4) Celery

5) Grainy breads, such as whole wheat, rye or pumpernickel

6) Legumes, such as chickpeas, baked beans and lima beans

7) Dried plums (prunes), and prune juice

You can try ground flaxseed sprinkled on salads, cooked vegetables, and cereals.

Again, visceral inflammation need to be ruled out.

It is privilege assisting you.
