Hi there,
This is Dr Basu, experienced Internal Medicine Specialist.
I am here to address your concerns and provide great service.

You radiating pain suggests nerve compression at the lumbar spine.

The ankle swelling can be from the varicose veins.

Blood clot very unlikely given normal doppler ultrasound.

You will benefit from compression stockings to reduce the swelling.
Best wishes,
It was my pleasure to help you today.
