Customer Question

Hi I'm 35 year old female. For a little over 2 weeks now I have been having right upper quad pain and it's also extremely painful behind my ribcage and yesterday it started to hurt in my lower right side of my back. I'm also swelling and when I eat my stomach gets huge. I am either constipated or have diarrhea now. Please help

I would recommend that you have a right upper quadrant ultrasound done to rule out gall stones or an inflamed gallbladder which would require surgery. This is so common that gallbladder is the most common surgery performed in the us and usually affects women your age. Let me know if you have any other questions. If not, please don't forget to leave a positive rating as that's the only way I get credit for answering your question. Thank you.

Hi I had my gallbladder removed in 2010. I'm scared it is my liver.

Got it. Have you had your liver enzymes checked recently?
