Hello!

This may be a TIMING issue .. The body responds to sensing that it is too cold at a given temperature with shivering. The muscle activity increases body temperature so it may be that if you check his temp in an hour then his temperature may have risen ....I would monitor how he is feeling as well as periodic checks for fever .....
