Customer Question

I am not sure who to ask, but I have had pain in my neck, on my right side, toward the base. It only happens shortly, but now I am experiencing tingling in my arms at times. It is a lot of the day but goes away at times. Any ideas?

Sorry for late reply.

Do you have dizziness, pain radiating to arm?

History of prolonged hours of computer use, mobile?

Any other medical illness?

Are you taking any medicines?

Waiting for your reply.

No, no other pain or symptoms. I take ibuprofen every now and again, for the ache in my neck, but other than that, I haven't had anything else. I don't really use any device longer than a few minutes at a time. I am overly stressed with a move that I have happening way too quickly. Could it be stress related?

I understand your concern.

As per your description, possible cause of such symptoms is cervical spondylosis and nerve impingement.

So you should see an orthopedist for a clinical exam and undergo X-ray/MRI of cervical spine(AP & Lateral view) in next few days.

You can try self care remedies like

Do gentle massage with topical diclofenac sodium ointment and apply warm compresses on back of neck.

You should do next strengthening exercises.

Physical therapy can be helpful.

Continue Ibuprofen.

Hope this helps.
