This is Dr Basu, experienced Internal Medicine Specialist.
I am here to address your concerns and provide great service.
Since your blood pressure is elevated in the morning after waking up, it suggests your blood pressure is likely going up in the early morning onwards.
Night time high BP is considered a risk factor for both stroke and heart disease.
And given that your BP is always elevated in the morning, it is unlikely to drop too low in the middle of night.
Hence, it is better to take diovan before going to bed for better efficacy.
That will also help avoiding any dizziness from the pill during daytime.
It was my pleasure to help you today.
