Customer Question

i developed a low grade fever last thursday - btw 101-103, by sat when it had not abated i checked myself into the ER, they put me on saline drip and did blood work. said my labs were clear but i had a "virus of unknown origin" and sent me home to take tylenol and hydrate. The body aches, chills and fever finally broke this morning. all day i have had low body temp 94/95 which i understand can be normal post the body sustaining fever for a long duration as it tries to reregulate itself...but now i FEEL like i have a fever, am mildly sweating, but my forehead feels normal, i just feel overly hot is that normal? i've never had that happen. what a fever has broken in the past, i've never had a normal reading but still feel feverish

I understand your concern.

As per your description,it's normal to feel feverish without high body temperature in case of viral infection.

It's good to take oral rehydration solution.

Take a warm bath.

Start a multivitamin-multi-mineral supplement.

You should eat bland foods.

You should take OTC Tylenol if your body temperature is above 99F.

Hope this helps.
