I have gh blood pressure normally controlled by medication.

I have high blood pressure normally controlled by medication. Lately it has been higher on a regular basis and I have been some what short of breath. I also have asthma though and don't know if that is a concern. today however I have taken my blood pressure every hour and it has ranged from 144/94 to a one time 179/110. currently it is 155/102. I am a 52 year old female with hbp, high cholesterol, lupus, m.s., and my left vertebral arter just ends past the base of my skull

You may need additional medicine or dose increase.

However, shortness of breath needs urgent evaluation in ER.
