it's almost like the side of my lower right leg, but it's a terrible pain. I have had a blood clot in my leg, although I'm no longer on warfarin and the clot has long ago disappeared.

Hello,
Thank you for your question.
I am Dr Saha, I shall try my best to help you.
There can be a few possibilities.
Sprain, muscle pull can cause pain here.
Tenosynovitis can be a possibility.
However, as you have a history of clot, this needs to be ruled out too.
I would suggest to take an examination by doctor without delaying further.
Please keep the leg at rest & elevated as much as possible.

You can take tylenol for pain.
I hope this information helps.
If there’s anything else I can do, please let me know.
If you are satisfied, please rate my answer as good or excellent.
Regards.

American Express flagged my attempt to pay you and sent me a fraud alert. I just got off the phone with them. Are you still going to answer my question. My pain is severe.
