My right arm is sore underneath. It feels like I must have

Customer Question

Hey, My right arm is sore underneath. It feels like I must have bruised it. But, now I'm wondering if I popped a blood vessel or if I could even have a clot. It's sore to the touch, no visible bruising or swelling. I'm 49.

Hi Where exactly is the sore spot?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
about 2 inches away from the armpit.

OK Most likely this is an infected cyst or folliculitis--an infected hair follicle. Not a clot--they don't present that way The best thing to do for it is see a doctor for a course of antibiotics that will resolve it. It's also possible that it's a pulled muscle but that would only happen if some trauma were involved

Let me know if you need more information please

I'm out of town and now the pain is down past my elbow and half way down my arm. I may be swelling now too. I think I'll find a local 24 hrs place.

That would be a good idea but let me know how it goes and please remember to rate my service to you
