Customer Question

Sorry Dr Chip I know you said that you don't understand about the toothpick. My OCD mind tells me I do things and I don't know whether I have done it or not, we'll my mind told me that I picked up a used toothpick from the floor and used it, and I'm right in telling myself "Well if I had I couldn't get HIV though that" Also I worried today when I bought a pair of earrings on in a shop, I was worried someone else had tried them on before me and I would get HIV, but I tell myself, there would be an epidemic of HIV if it was caught through these everyday events.

OK--neither of those scenarios would give you HIV
The virus simply doesn't lie in wait on toothpicks and earrings
