Hello,Thank you for your question.I am Dr Saha, I shall try my best to help you. When did the symptoms start? Is the pain constant? Is there redness, swelling? How is your blood pressure?Do you have any other symptom or previous illness?Do you take any regular medicine?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
It started just a few hours ago. Not constant. Seemed like it hurt along with my pulse. Not hurting now. Have not checked blood pressure but it is usually good. No meds except for reflux...dexilant. No redness or swelling. Small muscle ache on back of neck now but not bad. I do get migraines from time to time but not today.

Thank you for the information,
The pain can come from muscle strain or spasm.
Nerve impingement in the spine can cause pain.
High blood pressure, inflammation or infection can cause pain.
Aneurysm or abnormal dilatation may cause pain sometimes.
But in infection or inflammation or arterial disease there would be swelling, redness here.
As the pain has subsided, it is unlikely to be a serious issue.
You can take tylenol.
Warm application can be done.
If the pain continues, please take an examination by doctor.
I hope this information helps.
If there’s anything else I can do, please let me know.
If you are satisfied, please rate my answer as good or excellent.
Regards.
