I drink 2.2 liters of water a day, soda every once in awhile, alcohol wise I drink beer. I have no constipation. I'm also lactose intolerant so I try to mainly avoid cheese and milk. Abdominal pain is right below the belly button which only occurs in the morning. I do have quite a bit of flatulence but little bloating. My bloody stool only happens once in a great while after drinking alcohol (mainly drink beer) I take sprintec for birth control, but have been told,i have hpv along with clamydia, even though the clamydia was proven a false, positive. I also took Depo for around 4 years

There can be many possible causes of blood in stool like
Hemorrhoids
Inflammatory bowel disease
Ulcer
Anal fissure
Probably you should confirm the presence of blood by a stool test called
Stool for occult blood.
If present you should be seen by a GI specialist and further investigations.
Meanwhile you should also get your hemoglobin levels checked.
Avoiding spicy food, beer for the time being should be helpful.
You may take fibre supplement like metamucil to prevent constipation.
Also Preparation H cream may be applied for symptomatic management of hemorrhoids.
I hope this helps

Probably beer with its irritant effect tend to flare up the hemorrhoids causing bleeding.

I did forget to mention that I LOVE hot sauce but recently I've held back on it (frank's hot sauce) I love to eat it with my chips. Could that cause it?
Expert:  Dr. Anil replied 1 year ago.
Hi,
Hot sauce if very spicy then it can also act as an irritant and aggravating factor.
So limit it's consumption.
Also hydrate yourself with plenty of fluids.
Use moist toilet paper for wiping.
Hope this helps.
