My 17 year old son just came in and told me he swallowed the tab of the Coke can. He pulled ir off like many do and stuck it back in the can and then accidentally swallowed.
He said his stomach hurts badly. He feels uncomfortable
What to do!?

Hello,
I understand your concern.
Well as you describe,he is complaining of pain abdomen then you shouldn't wait and visit ER.
He needs evaluation by x-ray.
Usually swallowed objects pass through the gut without any problem. In 80-90% of cases it passes through.
However sometime large sized tab can pass and sometime small one can stuck and can cause pain abdomen.
He should hydrate himself with plenty of fluids.
Eat fibre rich food and metamucil.
Bananas can be tried.
