My daughter is only 14 weeks along and we believe she fractured a couple ribs from coughing so hard. What can we do to help with the pain??

Hi. My real concern is why she has been coughing so badly.
But can you tell me more about all that's been going on please?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
She has had a sinus infection and the drainage has been making her cough really bad. Now she is in tears to cough!

OK. And why do you think she may have fractured some ribs?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Because her ribs hurt really, really bad! She can"t move barely without it hurting, it hurts to even breathe and coughing is unbearable.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
She has tried icing them and she is taking tylenol

OK. For fractured ribs, except to apply heat as in a hot water bottle or a heating pad and taking Tylenol--which is the only safe pain medication in her condition--there is nothing else one can do.
But fractured ribs can sometimes pierce a lung and cause a pneumothorax.
With the way she is right now, I strongly suggest she get to an ER for exam and x-rays if needed of the ribs and her lungs.
