I had a toxicology test done and it came back with some concerning comments.
my dr prescribes me bontril and Xanax and Lexapro. the test came back with benzodiazepines, barbiturates,illicits, ipiates, tcas...what does this mean

Benzodiazepines are medications like Valium and Xanax
Barbiturates are medications like Nembutal and Seconal--they used to be called downers
Opiates include medicines like morphine and codeine
TCA's are tricyclic antidepressants like imipramine and amitryptilene
Most likely the toxicology test was a false positive test for the barbiturates, opiates and the TCA's
