Customer Question

Two hours ago my right ear I started hearing a high pitched sound in my right ear, which then suddenly got muffled and still is muffled. I really do not know what to do. My ears are clean. I have a slight sinus irritation but nothing else.

Thank you for your question,
I’mCustomerand I’ll try to help you.
The high pitched sound in the ear is likely to be tinnitus.
There are many causes for tinnitus, but sometimes no cause can be evident also.
The causes can be an inflammation, infection.
Ear wax can also cause it.
Stiffening of bones of the ear or otosclerosis, hearing loss, Meniere's disease can cause it.
I would advise to get an examination by doctor.
There can be different causes for it.
Sensorineuronal hearing loss needs to be ruled out.
Sometimes no cause can be found too.
But evaluation & treatment need to be started without delaying.
I hope this information helps.
