I have this tingling sensation when urinating without any discharges

Customer Question

I have this tingling sensation when urinating without any discharges or pain. I had random sex 16 days ago and noticed my symptom 3 days ago. The sex was protected anal and my condom broke during vaginal sex. Should I worry about STI like chlamydia, gonorrhea, or trichomoniasis?

Hi,
Probably this tingling sensation is anxiety induced most likely.
However prostatitis/urine infection can be other possible causes.
Since theoretically speaking, condom rupture may expose to you infection.
So you need to be seen by your regular doctor for a clinical examination if your symptoms 'll persist or you develop other unusual symptoms and undergo Urinalysis, swab test to look for certain bacteria that can cause infection. Also in case pus cells are seen in the urine sample further urine culture may also be required.
And your doctor may further prescribe antibiotics.
Usually antibiotics are prescribed after the sample for culture has been taken.
I hope this helps
