Hello, my ent doc did a lot of surgery on my sinuses He also tested me for allergy's. The results were ,I have non allergic( rinonist)sp. I am mainly allergic to chemicals and weather changes . I have had this since I was in my 20's. but no has ever told me how this works to make a person so wiped out. Since I talked to you last I have noticed when inflamed, my eyes feel sandy , I feel as though my tear ducts are stopped up. I usually fell better when my eyes are tearing. I have used a cold compress it seems to help. how can I get my eyes to tear or drain. I hope u don.t have this, but I can tell u it is misery , a person just does not feel good . what do u think ?

Thank you for your question,

I’m Dr. Saha and I’ll try to help you.

Did you get any examination by an eye specialist?

Does it occur only when you feel allergy or does it occur always?

Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Yes I have seen an eye doc 5yr's ago I think this is always is here I will pay more attention . To day they are sandy. after taking Benadryl last night. It seems to be the worst in the morning. making me want to go back to sleep shortly after I awake . No matter how long I have slept the night be fore.

Thank you for the information,

Benadryl can cause drowsy feeling.

So it can be difficult to wake up in the morning.

If it occurs always then there can be a problem in the eye.

Tear duct block can be tested by an eye specialist.

There can be turning out or ectropion of the lower eyelid.

So the tear can not drain properly through the duct in this condition.

This can cause excessive tearing, irritation of eyes/ cornea, inflammation.

I would suggest to take an examination by an eye doctor again.

He can find out the specific problem & treat accordingly.

I hope this information helps.

My goal is to provide you with excellent service today. If there’s anything else I can do, please let me know.

I will be happy to assist, if you need any clarification. I hope to work with you again soon!
