Sometimes, I have a sharp pain inside corner of my eye? What could that be?
Hi--is this in the eye itself or in the corner next to the eye? How long does the pain last?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Inside corner. So, don't know if eye itself. Shooting pain. Lasts a second. P.s. I have dry eyes and wear contacts, if that matters.

OK. This is most likely from a partial obstruction of a tear duct and not in the eye itself. I'd suggest you have an ophthlamologist take a look at this because you may need to have the duct dilated

You don't think it's something serious, like brain related?

No, not at all. This particular area does not register pain from something going on in the brain
