Did you have any blood tests to see if there is any deficiency?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Thank you for your help.

In my last test 2-3 months ago:

Hemoglobin was a little low, 9.9 g%
MCH 23.4 pg

RDW 13.5 g/dl

Lymphocytes: 15.0 %

Vitamin D2/D3 (25-OH) Total 34.37 nmol/l

I take one Euro D 10,000 per day / 5 days a week

Bonviva 150 mg Once a month

I also have Osteoporosis

Do you take any medicine for low hemoglobin?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Not really, anything I should ?

Its strange, I saw few GIs lately but no one recommended anything about it.

Thank you for the information,

The cause of low hemoglobin needs to be found out.

You need to discuss it with your doctor.

In case of iron deficiency, iron supplements or iron rich diet would be helpful

Meat & liver are good sources of iron.
Other iron rich foods are potato, peas, broccoli, pumpkin, sweet potato, turnip, spinach, beans, apricot, almond, soybean, sesame, cashew nut, pumpkin seeds etc.

You can try one by one to see if you can tolerate.

Vitamin or mineral supplements would not help to increase the weight.

Though B vitamins usually does not cause side effects but others can cause it.

As less vitamins & minerals can cause symptoms so also high intake.

You need to increase the calorie intake.

You can consult a dietitian for a diet chart.

Fresh fruits & vegetables are good sources of vitamins & minerals.

If you can tolerate, you can take them.

I hope this information helps.
