I have a very small gallstone (about 1cm). I've had it for 4 years and it's never changed.
I fasted for about a month, which created it.

My gallbladder functionality is fine (I had it checked). I'm interested in doing bile salts to remove the stone, instead of having the surgery.

But not sure of the dosage or what to actually get.

Well, gallstones can be dissolved through the use of a bile salt, this procedure can be used only with stones formed from cholesterol and not from bile pigments.

The drug name is- Actigall (ursodiol).
It works by decreasing the production of cholesterol and by dissolving the cholesterol in bile so that it cannot form stones.

It is usually taken once daily at bedtime to treat gallstones.
Also, this drug must be taken for months to have an effect.
One may need to take ursodiol for up to 2 years.
You should try to avoid eating foods that are high in calories or cholesterol.
You should not take this medication, if you are trying for a baby.
Dosage for this medication is- 8 to 10 milligrams (mg) per kilogram (kg)

It has to be prescribed by doctor, and you should have a evaluation with your primary doctor.
Hope this helped.
