Hello Dyde , I am Dr. Arun and will be helping you today. Since Dr. Gupta is offline, I am answering your question.Since hypoechoic nodules are on both the sides and are quite small the possibility of it being cancer is very low. This possibilities are;1) Renal infarction (loss of blood supply of a tiny portion of the kidney)2) Kidney cyst3) Renal adenoma4) Oncocytoma5) Angiomyolipoma6) HemangiomaAll of these are non cancerous (benign). A CT scan and / or MRI are usually advised to further confirm the diagnosis. Please feel free for your follow up questions.
I would be happy to assist you further, if you need any more information.
