hello i suffer from acid reflux and im 5'6 287 lbs and 29 old male.
2 days ago i started taking 3 medicines to treat the season cough, fever, flu i get every september here in kuwait. do they affect acid reflux in stomach?

the medicines are :

1- amoxycillin 10 ml 3 times per day
2- paracetamol 10 ml 3 times per day
3- bromhexine 10 ml 3 times per day

always felt burning sensation in stomach a while after i eat them

Apricot, Cherry and carrot juice will be better --do not cause acidity.

im really worried to take the meds now...although my flu fever and cough almost disappeared but i only finished 2 days out of 5 course...is there a chance i can stop taking them or a way to minimize the acid there causing

you can stop bromhexine.

mysticdoc :

Amoxicillin should be continued to finish the 5 day course.

last question about hunger....does hunger cause acid reflux? i eat 3 meals per day and 6-7 hrs between them any advise

you can have small snacks in between to combat hunger pangs.

sir there is something weird about acid reflux and searched for answer and didnt find.....why the problems doesnt hhappen to me till like 3-6 hrs after i eat the meal or medicine

that is because the food is digested already and stomach gets empty.

is it a must to eat amoxci 3 times per day? any chance for 2 or one

you can do 2 time dosing --then usually 1000 mg twice daily
