OK. Carolyn. No, this isn't a peripheral neuropathy from your RA. It most likely is an allergic phenomenon and you could try some benadryl for it but since it could be a magnesium deficiency, a kidney problem, or perhaps even a liver problem you need to have your doctor evaluate it with blood work that would cover those areas and I would also get a CBC to look at eosinophil levels for the allergy aspect
