Does it damage prostrat inany way?

No, and in general there are no complications at all. If there are, there can be some bleeding and sometimes a little difficulty in urination immediately after, and there is a risk of infection but usually prophylactic antibiotics are given before the procedure to prevent that. But no scarring or damage to the function of the gland.
