Thank you Joni, for the information .

There can be a few possibilities here.

Mild spotting can occur in early pregnancy.

This can be due to threatened miscarriage.

Pregnancy can continue in threatened miscarriage.

If the pain & bleeding subside, in most cases the outcome is good.

In some cases, there is a possibility of ectopic in these weeks & this should be ruled out without delay.

I would suggest to have an examination by doctor.

After clinical examination, doctor can advise about further tests like ultrasound, hormonal levels.

If the bleeding & pain are continuing, you need to go to ER for an examination.

Please try to remain at rest & avoid exertion.

I hope this information helps.

I will be happy to assist, if you need any clarification.

Please feel free for any follow up query.

Best wishes.
