mysticdoc :

Pelvic inflammatory disease can cause pain inside hip bone area.

mysticdoc :

This is also bacterial infection usually caused by the sexually transmitted bacteria.

mysticdoc :

If that is the case, ceftriaxone injection one dose and doxycycline for one week should be helpful.

mysticdoc :

Metronidazole also can be added to doxycycline.

mysticdoc :

Sometimes, infection may not be detectable by urine or vaginal smear tests.

mysticdoc :

Pelvic ultrasound also may not pick it up.

mysticdoc :

CT scan with contrast may be helpful.

mysticdoc :

However, treatment can be started and if you respond well that will also confirm the diagnosis.

mysticdoc :

Best wishes,
