Hi--what is your blood pressure running and are you on any medications?

I take 10 mg of ramipril daily


7.5 mg of buspar 2X daily


10 mg Lexapro once daily


 


My blood pressure ranges from 120-145/70-85 throughout the day. It's been a little high today but I'm very tired and think a little stressed about this.


 

Well, a pulse in the 50's may not mean anything serious but in general it should at least in the 60's. So long as your blood pressure isn't low for you there isn't anything for now to worry about but you should call your doctor and let him know about this. While I don't think you've developed a heart block, you should have an EKG done to check.

Okay. Does it matter that it isn't consistently in the 50's.

If it isn't consistently in the 50's it may only be a partial block or it could be a sign of hypothyroidism--low thyroid functioning
