Thank you for your question,

I’m Dr. Saha and I’ll try to help you.

Since when are you taking thyroxine?

When did you consult doctor last?

What are your symptoms now?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

i have been on thyroxne about ten years recently it has been reduced from 125mg my blood results just back today and will speak to doc on wed

Thank you for the information,

Your TSH level is lower than normal & thyroxine level is higher.

Higher thyroxine causes suppression of TSH secretion.

You will likely need further reduction of doses of thyroxine.

I hope this information helps.

I will be happy to assist, if you need any clarification.

Please feel free for any follow up query.

with my t4 reading 24.6 what could this mean

Your T4 level suggests that you are taking larger doses of thyroxine which is showing as higher than normal level of T4.

Your doctor would adjust accordingly & lower it.
