In the past 2 days including tonight I go to sleep at 12-1am

This answer was rated:

In the past 2 days including tonight I go to sleep at 12-1am and I wake up
in 1-2 hours later then I struggle a lot to go back to sleep. Tonight I don't
know why I woke up and suddenly I felt my stomach all bloated. Yesterday
I slept 2 hours and woke up and went to sleep later, the day before I woke
up after 1 hour of sleeping and took me several hours to go to sleep. My
stomach was full of gases. Did I wake up tonight possibly because of my
gases? When I woke up some minutes later my stomach felt full of gases.
I would appreciate your help. What would help me go to sleep faster, reading
or an Equate Nightime Slleep Aid?
Hello,

Glad to work with you again.

Yes, it would be your gassy feelings that made you wake up.

Dont worry about it. Have a glass of cold milk. Also something like dry crackers which can help to absorb the gas.

To go back to sleep, take an Equate and also read a hevy book, like something on philosophy or history, and when you feel sleepy enough, you will be able to go to sleep easily.

Take care.

Hope that satisfies your query. If so, please choose a positive rating.

If you have any other queries, do ask. Wish you good health and a quick recovery. Bonus is always welcome!

Thank you.

TRY THESE TIPS RELIGIOUSLY FOR AT LEAST
4-6 WEEKS BUT MANY HAVE SEEN

RESULTS IN AS LITTLE AS TWO.

3 HOURS BEFORE BEDTIME, STAY AWAY
FROM,CAFFEINE, ALCOHOL, CHOCOLATE

EXERCISE,CARAMEL COLORED SODA LIKE
PEPSI,COKE, AND GINGER ALE.

ALL THESE MAKE FOR RESTLESS SLEEP.

30 MINUTES BEFORE BEDTIME TAKE A HOT
BATH. LATEST RESEARCH FROM

JOHN HOPKINS IS THAT PUTTING THE HANDS
UNDER THE WATER ,PALMS UP, SEND IMPULSES TO THE BRAIN THAT IT IS TIME
TO RELAX FOR SLEEP.

15MINUTES BEFORE BEDTIME, DRINK A GLASS
OF WARM PLAIN MILK. MILK WHEN HEATED CONTAINS TRYPTOPHAN , A NATURAL
AMINO ACID SLEEP INDUCER.

WHEN YOU GET INTO THE BED TAKE A FEW
DEEP BREATHS, YOU ALSO CAN SET YOUR RADIO FOR SOFT MELLOW MUSIC
HOWEVER, PUT IN ON A TIMER FOR 20 MINUTES.DO NOT TWIST AND TURN FOR
MORE THAN 20 MINUTES. IF SO GET OUT OF BED, GO INTO A DIFFERENT
ROOM, AND READ A BOOK OR MAGAZINE, NO TV OR COMPUTER. WHEN YOU START
TO DOZE, IMMEDIATELY GO BACK INTO THE BED. THIS RETRAINS THE BRAIN
INTO THINKING THAT THE BEDROOM IS FOR GOOD RECUPERATIVE SLEEP. DO
THIS AS MANY TIMES AS YOU AWAKEN THRU THE NITE. IT WILL LESSON AS
THE WEEKS GO ON.

IF AFTER 6 WEEKS, NO IMPROVEMENT IS
SEEN YOU SHOULD CALL YOUR LOCAL HOSPITAL AND ASK FOR THE NEAREST
SLEEP DISORDER UNIT TO HAVE YOUR SLEEP MONITORED.

Dr jyoti:

I took the Nighttime Sllep Aid by Equate at 5am so I

am waiting for the medicine to do effect. I took one pill

of 25 mg.

I have slept still only 1 hour since 2 am. I am wondering

if this is normal that some adults sleep very little, This is my

second time I sleep so little because I usually sleep

5 hours or more per day, sometimes 8 hours (some

at night and some in the morning).

I am concerned I have slept so little and truly hope nothing

bad happens to me.

My doctor is unavailable,I would appreciate your help.

Thanks, XXXXX XXXXX way, I can not drink regular milk because

it gets my stomach upset.

You can drink skim milk, or soy milk. Apparently you are too stress out about not sleeping the 8 hours which is just not allowing any medication to work on you. You have got to try to relax. Try listening to soft music in your bedroom. to unwind, and taking some deep breaths at least 5 of them, when you get in the bed to help you unwind. Nothing is going to happen to you if you don't sleep your normal 8 hours . All of us at one time or another get our sleep cycles disrupted either because of a stress full day or not getting to bed the normal time. I think you will be just fine if you just try and relax. Which is why the heated milk. Milk contains tryptophan a natural amino acid sleep inducer and it relaxes one self.

I can't drink soy milk nor skim milk,I get bad
stomach problems. I was wondering what can

happen to me if I don't sleep in a day or maybe

maximum 1 hour. I usually sleep more hours than

that but with my gases I struggle a lot sleeping at

night even if I take a Gas-X medicine.
