So how is it that you fall and smack your head like this?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
I am yncoordinated
On my feel i was dizzy sat down then i got up on my knees ans fell fowards and smacked mu head
How did you fall forward while on your knees?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
I got dizzy and it happened fast
Sounds like too much medicine
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

No more--either you're just purposely typing like that to worry me or something serious is going on. Let's stop this right now and if this is for real you need to call 911
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
I teel tired
So what was all this malarkey with the unreadable messages?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

G bed
Get back to me in about three hours and let me know how you are
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
I feel like a bus hit me. My muscles ache and my head hurts
I have to be off for about three hours--get back to me then
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
I think its too much medication
I already told you that
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Dont be crabby with me. Do i call the gi dr and stop the amityptaline or the psychiatrist to stop the lorazepam
Not crabby--just saying that I told you that before. Your psychiatrist needs to know about this first and she should make the decision as to what to stop and/or what to cut back as far as dosage goes.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
How long do you suppose my head will hurt
No idea since I don't know how much damage you did. With the way you were last night and if you still have a headache today you should at least have a doctor look at you
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
I dont work today
That wasn't a good reply and you know it
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
I think ill be fine i have a hard head
Probably so--just making a suggestion
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
I just dont remember much last night
Call your docs today so you can get off some of these meds
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
I called my psychiatrist she is out until tomorrow afternoon
OK--go easy on the lorazepam today
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
I will stick with just 2
I'd rather see just one but OK
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Just at bedtime?
Yes and you need to stay in bed after you take it
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
A. Duodenum, 2nd and 3rd parts, endoscopic biopsy: Small bowel
mucosa without diagnostic abnormality. Villi and plasma cells are
present. No evidence of Whipple's disease, celiac sprue, or
Giardia. No abnormally increased eosinophils identified.

B. Stomach, antrum and body, endoscopic biopsy: Antral mucosa with
foci of ulcerations and reactive foveolar hyperplasia. Fundic-type
mucosa with patchy mild chronic gastritis. Within the focus of
ulceration, increased eosinophils (10-50/high power field)
identified, of uncertain clinical significance as the gastric mucosa
away from the area of ulceration shows no abnormally increased
eosinophils. Immunohistochemical stain for Helicobacter pylori is
pending and will be reported in an addendum. What does this mean.
Nothing too much more than what we already knew. Could still be atrophic gastritis which could explain the elevated gastrin level
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Why is there increased eosinophils?
As it says, probably of no clinical significance although it could be eosinophilic gastritis although I doubt that
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Ive never had it
Before
Like I said, it may not be of any clinical significance.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Ok
Anything else?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Still havent heard back from mayo. My back hurts to touch it
Not at all sure what to say about your back except you may have hurt it when you hit your head.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
But i hit thr front of
My head
Just a thought--I really don't have anything more to say about it
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
My aunt doesnt remember anything. Today she was crying cuz she just found out she has a tumor in her brain. But she knew that knew thAt in may
Not unusual with a brain tumor
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
It makes me sad
I understand
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
I screwed up
Don't go there if it has anything to do with something we can't talk about
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Im not saying anythung
OK
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Can you help me stop worrying about everythubg
Not really, at least not all at once. We've talked about this before.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
But i need help
Well, I'll try but give me an example of what's worrying you now and let's not talk about the GI/tumor thing because that's something that for now we can't do anything about and it has to be a waiting game.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Possibly being pregnAnt
OK--so what specifically worries you about that?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Im going to be a bad parent. Because of the scans i had done my child could be disfigured
Not that it matters now, but if you think that why risk getting pregnant? And there was a time when you were all for having a baby
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
I dont know
I can't really help you much if you don't talk to me
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
When i was trying to get pregnant i didnt know i would have all these tests done
But what about the bad parent part?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
I think i know deep down i wont be a bad parent
So why risk getting pregnant? And I don't think if you are pregnant there's much change any harm was done to the fetus by the scan
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Because i thought maybe it would fix my relationship with marty
I think you thought it would fix you too
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Your right. But this has caused me so much anxiety. I cant wait until friday when i can take a test
Well, that's a wait and see thing that you really can't do anything about right now.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
I know
So what else? Really the only way to stop worrying about something you have no control over is to let go and accept the fact that there are many things over which we have no control.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
The amityptaline really makes my chest hurt
Well, I'm not supposed to tell you this but you could just not take it until you talk to the GI doc
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Ive left him 2 messages today. Os it a common side effect
Yes it is
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Ok. Will you tell me i dont have appendicitis
Why do you think you have appendicitis?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Just kind of outta no where about 2-3 fingers to the right and down from my belly button i have a constant pain
Does it hurt badly to cough or to stamp on your feet?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
No and no
Then it's not appendicitis
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
I used azo test strips and i definately have nitrates in my urine
That doesn't absolutely mean you have a UTI
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
So i dont have to see my dr
No and we need to close this page

I cant eat
Because?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
My stomach hurts too bad to eat
Have you at least tried to eat something?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Yes i have. I had some cooked brocolli
Well, again, there really isn't anything I can say in addition to what I've always said about the stomach pain. At least if you can eat and drink you obviously need to do that.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Its getting old this stomach issue
I know
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
And ive been waiting for mayo to call me about psychology
Did you actually follow up your message with a phone call to them?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Yes. I called yesterday they said hed call by the end of the day. I called again today and was informed that hes going for today
Well you did all you could so hopefully he'll call tomorrow
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
I dont know how much more i can handle
You're strong enough to handle this
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Its been year
I know and you've been strong through that year
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Im going to talk to my regular gi tomorrow
Let me know what he says
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Thats all
That's all?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
You have nothing more
Tl say. Do you think my therapist will ever be a good therapist
Nothing more to say on the stomach thing, no. Honestly at this point with as long as you've been with him and the real lack of progress, no, I don't think he'll ever be up to the task.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
I told him about being sodomized and he had this shocked look on his face the rest of ghe appointment
You mentioned that before. Problem was it doesn't sound like he picked up on it and began working on it with you
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Sorry for mentioning it again
That's OK--and I doubt that he hasn't heard that before so I doubt he was all that shocked
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Ya he was. He doesnt deal with sexual abuse victims He sends them to his partner.
Interesting. Any therapist should be able to at least take the first steps with that even if later on he sends them to someone else. But. that said, then why didn't he refer you?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Because i refused
Why?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Because i didnt think i needed help and i dont really like her
Didn't like her?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
I just never liked her. I think she thinks shes better that other people
So are you saying that you have to like your therapist as a person to work with them? And I would point out that you seem to think that several people have that very same "problem."
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
I have to like my therapist
And what would that entail--what do you mean by like?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Likes not the correct word. Trust is
Well, that wouldn't apply to the other therapist you mentioned since she might be very trustworthy. But what exactly do you mean by trust?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Its just a feeling i get Ive seen 4-5 different therpists and after the first session i could tell if i thought i could trust them or not
So what is trust and how would trust be broken for you with a therapist?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
I dont know how to explain trust. Its just something i feel
OK--you often say something like that which I think is because no one has ever asked you to think about it. This is an extremely important thing here and I want you not to respond to me tonight but think hard and long about what it is you only "feel" and get back to me tomorrow with a paragraph about what you've come up with. If you ever really wanted to work with me and have me help you you have to do this and work really hard at it.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Why is this important
Do you trust me?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Yes i do as much as i can
Then trust me when I say it's very important and you need to do the assignment. We can discuss why I think it's important after that. You don't always need to know beforehand what it's all about--that's your control freak trying to take over
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
This is what mayo saya

Dear Ms. Miller,
I want to thank you for sharing your feeling with me and I am very sorry to hear about your obstacles. It breaks my heart. Your courage and willingness to get better are essential in the process of healing. I understand that it was not easy to take this first step, but you are doing the right thing.
I have placed the referral for Adult psychiatry; I think they will be able to help you the most.

Good news--now what about the assignment I gave you last night?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Im
Still working in it
Then don't post anything here until you have that paragraph to show me
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
I wi get you that andwer tomight. Last thing i DO have a uti. After 24 hr culture showed gram negative rod >100,000 c/ml
Just said that the nitrites alone didn't absolutely indicate an infection
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
In order to feel like i trust someone.....

In order to trust someone i have to feel like i am being listened to and like they care About i say. And they have to not interrupt me
And its just a feeling i have
OK--what do you mean about being listened to?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
They have to look at me and not just spend all the time writing things down
Would that be all it took?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Its a feeling i get. My therpaists office feels homey
OK but you did the word trust before and so far all you've talked about is the ambiance of the office and whether they look you in the eye. Is that all that's involved here besides a "feeling" you have that you can't really describe?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Yes.
So so long as the new therapist looks at you and the office is, I guess, cozy it'll be fine? The reason I'm pushing this is that I do think it's a trust problem but it has nothing to do with having to have constant eye contact and the way the office furniture looks
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Then what is it? Do i have to work more on it. They have me scheduled with Dr. Keith Kramlinger
Well, I think the main problem with your meeting any new therapist is 1) you probably already have decided he won't be able to help you and 2) you don't truly open up because you just decide not to, not because you don't trust him, but because it's what you've done for years and somehow you think that opening up is somehow going to destroy you
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Im not too happy to be seeing a guy
Why would it be better if it were a woman?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Less awkward
Be more specific
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
It would be less awkward. I think it would make me really embarrassed telling a guy about the abuse. I think id be more comfortable telling a woman about my dad sticking things in me and about other things
But you did tell your male therapist about some of that already
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
And everytime i did i usually took a couple month hiAtus from therApy
So you're basically getting into a self-fulfilling prophecy before you even meet the new therapist by saying it won't work because it's a man
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
I just said it might not work. And the. There is the 4.5 hour drive one way
Let's not quibble about the drive. Act as though I'm the new therapist and I ask you how can I help you--what's your problem? Tell me what you'd say and don't use just one line to do that
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
I would tell you that my life has not been easy since childhood. My childhood was full of sexual, physical and emotional abuse which has led to lots of anger and resentment. And has also frestered into an eating disorder. And i need help to over come
It
Very good and I hope you'll say the same thing to the new guy
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
I could wait 2 more weeks to see a woman
If it would help then fine
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
I was going to postpone it but i thought you be upset
No, I understand why you might want a woman but you definitely need to start the therapy as soon as possible with her
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
I have an appt to see the guy on Tuesday
So how did you know about the woman therapist?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Cuz i called to see if
They could switch me to a woman. They said they could but wouldnt be until the 12th
Well, if you feel you need to go with the 12th--that shouldn't be a problem
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
No its fine i dont want to disappoint you
I would only be disappointed if you didn't see a Mayo therapist--when it happens isn't that important
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Why is this mayo therapist so important? How often do you think i need to see him
It's important for you to get a good therapist that will actually work with you on your problems. As far as the frequency goes, I'd like to see twice a week for a month but that might not fit for you. At least every two weeks to start out
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Will once month be ok
As often as you can. Once a month should include homework that you work at as hard as you can
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
What kind of dr says it breaks their heart to hear about the obstacles
A caring one like me
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
I see
Anything else for now?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
I have blisters in my mouth
Hard to say what that is tonight and it's really not fair to change subjects like that. Let's close the page and we can discuss this tomorrow on another page. It's not an emergency for now
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Wiill u look at my new question
Don't see it
