Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) and hot flashes need investigations for following (some of which had been investigated for you):
3) diabetes mellitus,
4) diabetes insipidus,
7) acid reflux or gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
8) carcinoid syndrome.
9) idiopathic hyperhidrosis
10) autonomic neuropathy
Night time (Nocturnal) diaphoresis / sweating need investigations for;
6) Prinzmetal angina.
Investigations needed are;
1) a chest radiograph, a PPD test, a complete blood count, TSH, and blood cultures.
2) a CT scan of the torso.
3) a bone marrow biopsy.
4) a 24-hour urine collection for 5-HIAA, metanephrines, and catecholamines
