You do not have any hereditary disorder causing increased risk of clots.
Hence, the risk of recurrent clot is low like any other average individual.
Regarding the slight swelling, this is common with vein problem.
Compression stockings help to prevent swelling, but they are not essential.
During summer time, you can discontinue wearing them due to the physical discomfort.
You may notice some worsening of the leg swelling but that is not concerning.
