I have pain in my belly bottom after eating (probably gas?). It becomes very sensitive to touch and eventually clears up

Anthony Bray MD :

Hello!

Anthony Bray MD :

I suspect that this pain and sensitivity may be due to referred pain pattern from your stomach as the likley source...

Anthony Bray MD :

I would advise that you adjust your diet to avoid irritants>> no alcohol, hot spicy foods for 4 to 6 weeks...

Customer:

and what would the follow up be?

Anthony Bray MD :

Avoid acidic foods including tomatoes, onions, peppers...

Anthony Bray MD :

Follow up with your doctor is recommended...

Anthony Bray MD :

You may benefit to try OTC Prilosec 20mg/day or Prveacid 15mg/day to help reduce stomach acid...

Anthony Bray MD :

Do this for at least 4 weeks...

Anthony Bray MD :

Your doctor might check you for H.Pylori which is an ulcer causing bacteria...

Anthony Bray MD :

I think this would be a wise step for you as well...
